Saturday, July 11, 2020 Coronavirus Update for Bloomingdale Baptist Church
I just wanted to give you an update on the status of our services at church.
We will be worshipping in person tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and live streaming our 10:30 a.m. service and we will still have Celebrate Recovery in the Auditorium at 5:00 p.m. We will also be starting a study on the first 11 chapters of Genesis on this Wednesday night.
However, as most of you are probably aware, the Covid-19 virus has been rapidly spreading throughout Northeast Tennessee and starting tonight at midnight the public wearing of face masks is mandatory in Sullivan County with the exception of children under 2, those with medical conditions that prevent them from wearing a mask, and places of worship.
While wearing a face mask is not mandated in church, I would encourage each of you, out of loving respect and concern for your brothers and sisters in Christ, to wear one during this time of community concern. And as much I love worshipping with each and every one of you in person, I also encourage any of you with any underlying health concerns, to consider avoiding crowds until the spread of the Covid-19 virus slows in our region.
Please be in prayer for our nation, our leaders, and each other during these uncertain times and know that you are in my prayers.
